This
is located in Jinju Castle and famous for Special
History Museum of Japan Invasion of Korea. This
consists of Imjinwaeran Hall, Duam Hall, Special
Exhibition Hall, Stereoscopic 3D Image Hall, and
is the first special museum of nation, possessing
3,500 pieces Hyeonjachongtong, Treasure No. 885,
and so on. |

Chok-seongnu which is risen high magnificently
on the rock cliff of Nam Riverside, is the most
beautiful palace in Yeongnam. This was constructed
in 28th year of the region of Gjong of Goryeo
(1241) and repaired and restored 8 times. This
palace called as Jangwonnu, which was the command
headquarter, and was used as an examination place
in peaceful age. This was destroyed by fire due
to Korean War, but restored by Jinju Historic
Spot Preservation Society formed with gathered
citizen’s force, in 1960. |

| Top of mountain is Janggoondae
(482m). Janggoondae is a place where Geumsan,
Moonsan, Jinseong-myeong residents have performed
praying for rain in drought from old times, and
holds historical fact that General Kim, Deok-Ryeong
constructed Mokchaek Castle and regarded it as
the headquarter defeating Jananese aggression.
In the east of Worasan, Cheonryongsa is located
and in the south, Doobangsa is located, but it
is famous for Cheonggoksa located in the west.
Around this Buddhist temple, with dense forest,
tee plants are growing naturally. |
